Our Story

Held’s Meat Market was founded by Adam Held in 1886. Since then, the store has been passed down through four generations and occupied five different locations. The current building was completed in 1995 and is a destination for many generations of families in the Slinger, WI area.

Held’s maintains an uncompromising dedication to quality. We believe in taking the time and effort necessary to open-fire smoke our meat.

All of our meat is smoked onsite in our four on-site brick and mortar smokehouses. No water injections, no recirculated smoke, and no shortcuts.
